I’ve been fairly ok so far but today is brutal

My hay-fever is bad today. Headache, itchy throat, eyes, and bunged up.

At least hope it’s hay-fever.

Yeah, today is shite. Fuck off, grass

Forgot to take a 'mine yesterday and woke up in streaming mess at 5am. Still all itchy and stingy, but much better now.

I’ve been really hot on taking pills this year and generally been fine, but this week has ramped up a gear. Was rubbing my eyes all night while half asleep and woke up a bloodshot mess

Anyone else struggle with itchy skin with the pollen count is high? Im dying atm

benadryl plus nose spray and eye drops seems to be doing the business this year.

There’s something in the garden that is really hitting me, but the kids want to play out there, so I’m fucked.

Do you reckon this is it? Mine hasn’t been this bad for a couple of decades

Pollen counts increase with temperature and sunlight - we’ve had loads of that. This week has been very windy too which is probably not helping, plus grass pollen season will be ramping up at this time of year.

Luckily I’ve been alright for a month or so (since leaving London actually), just been taking 2 pills daily and it’s doing the trick. Solidarity to those struggling :fist:

Dry weather doesn’t help either I’m guessing, rain must trap a bit of pollen, right?

Yes! Probably the last symptom to emerge, but it is there with how high it is now.

Also this year when I am getting everything the is really bad a sometimes get a choking feeling, which isn’t concerning at all.

We’re also at 35% humidity or something stupid, which won’t help with skin discomfort.

I’m usually a lot better after it rains, yeah

I’ve never known if rain helps trap and damp down pollen, or if riles up the trees and helps to spread pollen around

Loratidne and cetrizine morning and evening. Beconase throughout the day. Contact lenses mean my eyes are thankfully spared, but still if I go out I’m streaming. Exhausted from sneezing and my lungs itch - scratching my back and chest at the same time helps a bit but really want someone to go inside and get at it from the inside. Gah!

MY EYES
