Think it’s bad form locking a thread like that - denies the opportunity for conflict to be resolved

Conflict is a necessary part of breaking down barriers, deepening relationships and furthering understanding. Leaving arguments at hot points just makes them fester.

If two people can’t resolve a conflict by themselves then they need an intermediary to help them. It really doesn’t help in the slightest if one just decides they have the right to get someone else to switch the other one off

You apologized to me over DM yesterday and have today decided to pick things back up in front of everyone and accuse me of being extremely angry and taking this massively personally because I don’t save (which we’ve established I do). Whats the point of that? And why me? Loads of people here have also said that thread shouldn’t have been locked but yet again, just me getting pulled up on something YOU read incorrectly. Just admit you posted that to try to get a rise out of me and start some kind of argument.

Conversations are allowed to progress into other conversations. You are not the owner of all conversations because you started the initial one. Just because we are having a discussion about what you do and don’t consider before start a relationship, it doesn’t mean this has ANYTHING to do about your friend. I’ll say it again, don’t ask for opinions if you don’t like opinions.
