I was expecting a big, empty, open plan office space with most of the floor covered by track

I am presuming that he drives and parks up specifically in front of you window and then drives away again when finished and doesn’t just park his car there all day.

I guess I could. The people who own/use it have specific breaks so I could use it between them. Or I could ask to join in.
