People look for a connection don’t they? If I hadn’t come on here when we shared music with each other I wouldn’t have been in this frame of mind. Probably would have watched some generic YouTube videos about new games on the Switch or something. That’s the alchemy of sharing something with other people, makes you go back and look at yourself and what you like.
I still treasure some very simple memories of me and my friend when we were about 17 coming back to mine and getting stoned and sharing music. I never really told him but I always looked forward to showing him something I thought was cool and seeing what he thought, it was a deep connection. You can’t really get that talking about the weather or how shit your job is. 15 years later and I still remember those times clear as day, just goes to show it cuts deeper than so much stuff.
