In Buffy they always say they ‘gotta book’ instead of go/leave, I don’t think many Americans really indulged in this vernacular though. Wishful thinking on the writer’s part.

By the way, sometimes they say things in these types of shows that you might hear in other things as well. Those are equally valid contributions to this thread.
