Yeah friendly as fuck place I’ve found. Apart from the massive Wetherspoons with the spiral staircase in the middle (Prince of Wales I think it’s called) but we went in there looking for trouble deliberately (a local taxi driver told us not to). Didn’t find it I hasten to add, but it isn’t friendly.

reckon bristol is probably the best english city. didn’t spend long enough in cardiff to form an opinion. bits were quite nice, bits were more run-down/under construction than I had anticipated. the train station sucks too. never been to scotland or ireland.
