2. Prince
3. Joni Mitchell
4. Joy Division
5. The Velvet Underground
6. Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds
7. Pixies
8. Low
9. Aphex Twin
10. The Smiths
11. Aretha Franklin

Full disclosure, because I did it in a slightly half-arsed way I forgot about Bjork and Jay Z, who would have both made my list in the 13 -15 range had I been the sort of person that knows how to make Spreadsheets. On reflection I put Low too high (hah!).

just seems like a normal bloke really who just makes music. Sorry he didn’t do better even though I don’t really think their music is that great

the singer, he had long hair, and the drummer, he knew restraint

yeah that’s true, but I didn’t expect stuff I really like such as Stevie Wonder to do very well so would have been nice if one of the less posey bands/artists won it

Missed all the ‘who would win in a fight’ chat, but has anyone asked Nick Olivieri’s opinion?

He’s a big unit.

Thought you didn’t like artists that wore sunglasses indoors?

I’m so sorry
