Getting a slight dopamine hit just from imagining this.

Yeah never got as much from any of this. Nowhere near really.

Nooooooooooooooooooo.

This is my least favourite form of socialising by quite a long margin! From my point of view going to pick up the kids from school was a quick ten mins in and out job. Five mins to school. Pick up kids. Five mins home. Done.

Not so with Mrs Scag though! “Oooh look it’s Emma, she’s here to pick up her little Stephen who was in tiny tots dance class with our youngest six years ago! Let’s just say hello!” 45 minutes later, if we’re lucky, we get back home. Arrrrggghh. No.

This is the Labour leadership all over again

I DON’T AGREE TO THAT

“But I couldn’t give less of a fuck about what’s going on in Emma’s life.”

Now tell society to leave me in peace, please.

thank you, lovely xxx

Oh, I forgot the dog walking community too! Love a little bit of dog chat, nice gentle way to pass the time.

I’m terrible at socialising

Nowadays I have a very small circle of friends that I’m comfortable with. Bigger groups, I tend to always stay on the outside, or overcompensate and tend to repeat myself and get anxious that everyone thinks I’m an idiot.

Saying that I enjoyed the big DiS meet, until again my brain started overthinking things and getting over anxious, so I had to leave.

The thing is I do want to be more social and do things, which is annoying.

I’ll be honest this wasn’t meant to need closing to see any results, but here we are.

I just prefer my own company, man. Think it’s part an ego thing, part defence mechanism. Don’t think most of the things i enjoy most are improved by the company of other people - reading, watching films, eating, sleeping, getting pissed, listening to music, watching sport.

The thing is balancing that with having just the right amount of company that you get to share your thoughts on all of those things, and widen your exposure to stuff on other peoples recommendations, and keeping your mind socially active enough that you’re vaguely comfortable around people. I do none of these things.

When i do go out i just much prefer the company of one person. I like the silences, the “yeah but, how are you…?” conversations, the reminiscing. As soon as there’s a third person i find it a bit dizzying and impersonal.

V good answer on this sub poll guys, we’re really getting somewhere with these.

More than 4 people becomes something else, not quite a party, but might as well be
