Yeah, the gaping hole in the notion of Switzerland as some ideal society is the jaw-dropping level of both casual and institutionalised sexual and racial inequality. Like sure, women can vote now but there are so many other things (family law for example or even that thing you mentioned somewhere else about it being assumed all schoolchildren will go home for lunch) where everything is so skewed in favour of the male it’s incredible.
I seem to recall hearing they’ve now got real issues with property costs and cost of living too that’s making it very hard for the youngest generation of adults to be able to live in the country?

I still remember the smoking carriage on trains. And using them too. Always pretty empty in those as they were rank.

Time travel - no. If time travel is going to be invented, how come no-one’s come back to now? Or are they all seemlessly hiding like Marty McFly did?
