Yeah with drama in uni we were trying to make something decent, that we were proud of, and people were trying to push themselves and their performances. Doesn’t seem like you get to do that outside uni… suppose I can always just watch theatre

I’m earning money from music so I’d consider it almost like a second job. I’m in a cover band solely to earn more money so wouldn’t count it as a hobby.

Being miserable about work and beer fan, verging on (or past the) point of healthy

Used to be a very big bike wanker. Then I gave that up and the latter happened

Been climbing a few times… Also making music again obvs. Hadn’t realised how much I missed it.

Ummm

We all know yr a huge cross-stitch fan

Play hockey, used to play at a decent level and was a bit obsessed, training and playing five days a week. Haven’t played for six months though and am in between clubs so maybe I can’t count that as a hobby anymore :woman_shrugging:. Not sure what people do with their lives without a hobby like this, I would’ve been lost at weekends without the structure.

finished 4 bars of music this evening

I feel you pal, I would love to do AmDram but can’t find any local ones that aren’t all about musicals.

I wish I had hobbies, but all I end up doing is watching TV or sleeping. I want to do loads but then never end up actually doing them.

Well as we have adjudicated previously, beer is not a hobby so I can’t say that. I do write a blog about it when inspiration strikes, need to get it together.

NFL? Dunno. Just interests I guess. All a bit passive.

I find it weird when people ask my hobby and I say gym is my hobby cause I don’t feel like it’s a hobby, it’s just something I do…almost every day.

I got a book last year on how to do quilting but I am yet to give it a crack. I want to make a patchwork quilt for my future niece or nephew who is being born in Jan. Is that too ambitious?

I do! I have a cute pink mini one from John Lewis.

I’ve just ordered this bundle to have a stab at making a simple patchwork quilt after I watched a short video on YouTube. It’s only gonna be small! I thought the colours were quite gender neutral and my bfs girlfriend has a cat and works for a vet so thought she’d like something animal themed
