ive watched a few videos of these and it confuses me. might try and learn though because ther meant to be good…

yeah carmen mentioned the rows and Im going to incorparate them
can you do one armed reverse flys…? the dumbells are really light

actually would this work…?

Yeah, I reckon that would work!

Another thing is low rows: lie under a table, put a hand on either side and pull your chest up as high as you can. Put your feet up on a chair for extra difficulty.

And last one from me, I’ve recently started doing these and they feel great for my back:

I reckon you can do those with light dumbells and still get a lot from them.

Ditto what other have said re bent over rows and Turkish get ups.

I’m not too great on what exercise works what muscle to be honest.

The guy who ran the classes at my old gym is trying to make a go of just doing classes over Zoom, and group exercise sessions in local parks (with no equipment). Have been giving him a hand setting up a super basic payment and booking system (been quite fun TBH) and it does seem to be taking off, although I wonder how sustainable it is.

Anybody done any of Jordan Syatt’s exercises from his Spartan Strength Body weight Workout Manual? Pretty good. PDF here…

Yeah the bicep one for sure.

The shoulder one maybe a bit harder without two weights.

Reckon the devil thing just with the light dumbbells I have will do for starters

Lil tip for any bicep curl, if you think about driving through with your pinky, it’ll focus the muscle more and help a bit with form. If you have low weights slowing down especially on the down part of the movement will really add work, and if you want to help the triceps a bit you can squeeze the muscle on the full extention.

Ps your biceps are meaty hamhocks :ok_hand:t2:

Also, do you rock an Arnold press? I used to find they were a pretty efficient add if I was trying to do a full body session and save time?
