I know I’ve told you this already but if you get the tram to Victoria Peak or the cable car to Lantau you MUST book in advance as the queues were stupidly long.
Big fan of chow yun, some lad.
One of the reasons I’m very excited about going is because of my love of Hong Kong films, especially early John woo/chow yun films.

Kind of crazy to think how okay this was when I was a kid.
Eat here
Most importantly, can anyone advise Lopes on where he can get a Bloody Mary at 10am in Hong Kong?
I’ve been but it was 25yrs ago so can’t remember much. Caught a ferry to Tong Fuk, I do remember that
If it’s not too late, then there are some good recommendations in these links as the author has just been to Hong Kong:
Hong Kong is fucking great fun!
She’s a friend of my sister’s I have her cook book
used to think hong king was king kong’s little brother when i was a wee nipper (i didn’t really i’m just workshopping content for twitter)
Changshu was good but quite strange. We got started at, by everyone all the time. A few folk asked to get photos with us on the subway
That being said everyone was lovely and very friendly. Ate somethings that I am still not sure what they were.
Back in wet HK, off to Victoria peak thing and Tim Ho wans later.
Found a really cool wee natty craft beer bar round the corner from our hotel.
Really fucking loving HK.
And love the bamboo scaffolding
Told you
Try and time Victoria Peak for just before sunset if you can.
We’re gping to do that today but the clouded are out and the heavens have opened.
Hopefully it’ll clear up soon.
The Hong Kong film awards are in town tonight. Chow yun is up for best actor, my try and crash it
I don’t wanna leave Hong Kong.
Set up an HK office
Have you met their king yet? Massive hairy fella
Thinking about it
Might have met him last night, can’t be sure though. All I know is that it was a great fun last night.
