That’s probably to do with MJ getting massively fucked over with both his flat and studio getting flooded a couple years ago and landlords trying to exploit him.

He’s a really lovely dude, who is heavily involved in the Leeds DIY scene (he co-op runs a venue/collective there) he wouldn’t be saying that shit without reasonj

Enormous fan of the first two records and think they’re one of the best live bands around. Although the new songs aren’t quite doing it for me so much. Hopefully more so in the context of the album.

Hi MJ! Glad to see you’re playing EOTR…

Always happy to hear when bands read DiS

Also, @jimmyhuntspill you seem to become a bit of a controversy courter of late…don’t remember you being like that before.

Can’t wait for this. 3 amazing singles.

Also, is anyone going to one of their 2 day things in Leeds in March?

I’ve quit twitter so need to share my unpleasant views somewhere else.

It absolutely is, isn’t it? Well excited about this one.

Not a fan of the one that sounds like a Postal Service album track, but Static Resistance is good!

are you a landlord or letting agent jimmy?

Sort of both.

not sure about it. couple of great tracks but dunno about the rest. needs a few more spins though.

I got fully enveloped into it, I like that they’re taking a more “beat” orientated approach but still sounds massive

I’ve always liked you

does track 7 stop really suddenly on yours? wondering if it’s meant to be like that or it’s a mistake

Really enjoyed first listen through this. Nice and krauty. Great production. Good stuff.

Yes, I thought the same. Dig it on first listen (Hi MJ)
