Iā€™ve been singing the lyric ā€˜im in love with a girl named satelliteā€™ to my girlfriend for the last week. Itā€™s staying in the list

I actually agree with this. Probably could replace with Ogres Trumpet.

Nah nah the tracks are too good, it stays!

Should probably add in Ogres Trumpet anyway, yeah

Not on streaming! Only Austin City Limits

Class Clown Spots a UFO is still randomly missing from streaming which might be an issue, but thatā€™s ages away

itā€™s a low-key start, but since it is the first thing they did and only just went up on streaming recently I did want to give it itā€™s dues. Plus, not sure Iā€™ve ever actually heard it!

I always think of this as their REM album

A remarkably polished sounding debut, totally at odds to the lo-fi chaos that would soon follow. Jangles aplenty on this, almost a bit Paisley Underground in places.

ā€œThe Other Placeā€ is the first great GBV song IMO, a gorgeous song to these ears :star_struck:

Think Bob hated how this turned out which put him off studio recording. Vital to their origin story in a way.

Until it went on streaming the other week Iā€™d only listened to it on youtube once or twice. Always really liked Land of Danger. She Wants to Know only clicked with me when I went back to it after seeing they were doing it live a couple of years ago. Need to listen to the rest a bit more.
