How about a thread for comedy programmes that people may have not seen that are at least quite good?

One of the best yet criminally underwatched sitcoms of all time imo. I blame BBC3 for putting it on at stupid o’clock when it first started instead of prime time where it belonged. I think it also suffered due to Sean Lock not being that well known at the time.

Watched some of them in a caravan awning a few summers back in an uncomfortable camping chair. Maybe that is why I never finished it.

Does We Need Answers count? Absolutely great stuff. Another vote for Cowards.

Also Hunderby and Camping, if you like weird shit. Oh, and Flowers, but that was brilliant because it was darkly funny and incredibly well written and performed. Dealt with depression in a very raw way.

Yeah Hunderby was good and I have tried to torrent Camping for a long time but all it ever does is throws up porn.

We are rewatching Nighty Night at the moment. Julia Davis’s character in that has to be one of the most vile comedy creations. No redeeming features whatsoever.

Camping is great - there’s a US remake coming :persevere:

came here to suggest please like me and camping
turns out people have seen them

I don’t want to get NowTV as well as Netflix and Prime though!

If you google Camping and Daily Motion, the episodes are up there. Would link but not sure its allowed?

Is that a streaming site? Can’t usually be naffed with that. Want it in good quality and on the telly but maybe will have to make an exception.

Yeah it is, the quality was good IIRC

Will dig out the Chromecast.

I loved it and I’m not a big Lock fan

as a study of a novelty rapper’s career going to shit it was brilliant, and the surfer guy who had no life whatsoever beyond starting fights with a rival gang, so good :grinning:

Bob’s Burgers.

Yes, you’ve heard of it. Yes, it’s on during prime time on a big US network. Don’t care. It’s a wonderfully crafted world about how families relate to each other and I love it to bits.

You probably all hate it, but I loved Pramface, despite it’s horrendous name.

So Pramface.
