I’m very interested in purcashing a new winter coat.
Me vs froglet cage match. Let’s go.
Might just eat a shitload of nuts and sleep for 6 months
Bought one in like late feb. Hardly bloody worn it ffs.
Can’t remember if I threw away my B winter coat in the move, it had a big old rip in the shoulder which I will sew up if I can find it. Still have my A coat and a couple of demin jackets for layering.
Uh-huh
Might either buy a really nice TV or get a nice monitor.
We call it Winter II round these parts.
That’s a good idea actually, I should assign them based on the Winters
I bought a new cosy blanket. I can highly recommend Matalan’s Sherpa blankets they are £20. Ultimate snuggle!!
I will be preparing for winter by continuing to get into wine. My 2020 goal was to get into white wine and I did not do that so I will be drinking more red wine in winter as a result. I already know I like Rioja, chianti and malbec. Any wine recs?
Gonna buy a SAD lamp like I’ve been considering for 10 years
For winter, it’s got to be big chunky reds. More Italian, hit the Barolo. More from the New World, don’t shy away from decent Australian Shiraz (spicy!) or even a Pinotage from South Africa, which is a pretty unique taste. Big chonks like St Emillion, cab sauvs, that sort of vibe. You’re on the nose with your existing choices as I see it, woody, spicy, bit of body. Red wine is the king of winter.
In Lidl, for example, you can bag Chateaneuf du Pape at decent prices which’ll totally warm your cockles
Try a Pinotage if you like slightly heavier, fruity reds and Tempranillo if you like Rioja.
You wouldn’t see me spending £12 for a weekday fireside red, but this stuff really is the absolute nuts
That’s a good link isn’t it, nice and informative
Reckon you get SAD
