Watching the Norwegian news right now on our BBC basically. They obviously have several correspondents in the US, and they as well as the ones in the studio are wearing either red or blue depending on where they are :’’'D For the ones in the studio it seems to be coordinated with where they’re standing in relation to the various graphics. Amazing times.

Yes. I don’t mean that Ohio’s demographics have changed - they’ve stayed mostly the same. Meanwhile, large chunks of the US have become more Latino, more African America, more college educated… basically, more Democrat leaning. So even if Trump wins in Ohio (as he’s polling to do, doing well with white, male, working class, non-college educated voters), he has less pull in States which skew the other way.

Off work/working at home with not much to do tomorrow. But unsure whether to stay up late or get up early. Only just recovered my sleeping pattern from the weekend so the latter sounds preferable. But staying up drinking a bit sounds more fun.

I’ve peaked well too early here, olives and spicy chick peas already gone. Running the risk of being all out of nibblage until the chilli’s done. Schoolboy error.

Gary Younge’s great, eh. Like his pieces generally but think he’s a particularly engaging public commentator. Should be on the telly more. Very rarely not on the money about STUFF.

I’ll be sat on a hotel balcony overlooking the waves crash on to the beach in El Medano, Tenerife.

It’s the last night of my holiday so I’ll be out for the evening having it large and back in time for the results, kebab in hand, full of regret I don’t live here but glad I don’t live in the US.
