Had a trainwreck of an evening. Picked up my mother-in-law from Heathrow in a rented car and the tyre burst so got in at 2am.
Somehow, despite about three hours of sleep, I’m okay!
Got a rehearsal later so looking forwards to that.

Having a bit of a nightmare where the house we moved into has an intermittent but strong drain smell. Plumber reckons it was to do with soil stack so he has been here refitting en suite etc for literal weeks and is still going.
And the smell is STILL THERE
Very much first world problems but also thinking we might end of paying £££ for him to not actually fix the problem or use the tiles I wanted (this is a whole other story)
Anyway, dog is off to his daycare so we can go and do the bath skyline. In a jumpsuit but may well switch to shorts as the sun has come out

Working from home on a 7-3 shift. Then driving from Winch to Brighton to see Waxahatchee tonight. Can’t wait. And the gig finishes at 10, so there’s a chance I’m home for midnight!
You must be pretty knackered, but enjoy the gig!
Will be a long day. But will be worth it.

Heading out on the bike for 2 or 3 hours shortly. Disappointed the weather has turned out slightly cooler, windier and greyer than the forecast was saying but whatever.
Need to finish packing for holiday and drop the dog off at the in-laws at some stage this afternoon.

WFH today, but sun is shining and no rain forecast so going get some laundry out as well. Might have a shower on works time in a bit too.

Slept terribly last night. It took me ages to get to sleep, then at 3.30 the students next door were making a racket, then at 4 Holly was meowing like she’d caught something (thankfully she hadn’t), then at 4.30 there was about 100 seagulls cawing like it was the end of the world.
Feel like death, but I’ve got a gig tonight to shoot, so I need to get my act together. Step One - coffee.

Feeling grumpy today because I worked until 11 last night, went to bed and woke to a really unhelpful and dismissive email regarding the work I sent. Really cannot cba.
Just dropped the child off at nursery on the bike. I am now a pool of sweat.

The Child is at holiday club. Wor Lass and I were going to do a school uniform shop today but she can’t be bothered so I’m going for a haircut and possibly some other jobs from the list.
the new Demi Moore horror which closes the film fest at midnight is sold out. What am i meant to do with my life now?

Had to work through the night to get some drawings out, and am now on a train to the potteries for a site meeting.
