- hi-res DAP
- i-pod/other mp3 player
- phone
- walkman/other cassette player
- minidisc
- cd player
- another method not listed
- I just listen to the birds when I’m out and about
So I have a phone separate from the actual phone that effectively serves now as an mp3 player so I checked both options
I do this too
what is the logic behind this?
My new phone doesn’t got a headphone jack
Phone, Bluetooth over ear headphones. Usually podcasts more than music. When music, it’s via Spotify.
Minstrel
Phone, over ear bluetooth headphones, apple music, sometimes youtube music
ah right. makes sense then!
Only listen to music out and about if I’m in the car and that’s through a plug-in Bluetooth streaming thing via my phone & Spotify. Prefer nothing if I’m in the shops and that, and on the rare occasion I go for a little walk I’ll have a podcast on.
yeah ive got a guy
I either go with nature (cars, alarms, people and red kites) or use my phone via a Bluetooth adapter into head or earphones depending on how active I am, how warm it is, how much space I have in my bag.
I have a string quartet follow me wherever I go.
I spend so much time practicing music that I tend to enjoy not listening to anything when I have the chance.
Also need an absence of music to stay in love with music. Does that sound a bit wank?
Cannot imagine leaving the house without headphones.
Still miss my minidisc player. If ever there was a format that deserved better…
I have a fondness for the minidisc too!
Boring option - phone + Bluetooth over ear headphones. Tidal or bandcamp. Don’t listen to podcasts on the go as I need to concentrate.
Would use an iPod touch if they still existed but doesn’t seem to be an affordable alternative.
Have never got on with in ear buds and have to say I am a complete Bluetooth convert as I just used to constantly catch the wires.
Phone. Always have headphones in if i’m out, no matter where. Other people are far too irritating to listen to.
Tidal, phone, routinely have 30-35 albums downloaded and a couple of playlists (new singles, everything from the albums to shuffle them). I have some Bluetooth headphones that I use in the office and for short walks but I really dislike the noise cancelling outside for longer periods, so I have some (wired) earbuds for that. Wouldn’t buy Bluetooth earbuds because I’d just lose them.
