So if you ever wanted proof that DiS has awful taste in video games. Apparently Sea of Thieves is the 2nd worst game ever, worse than Sonic 2006 and as bad as Sim City 2013 which is WRONG. Just as wrong as Golden Eye somehow landing a spot in the top 20 despite being one of the worst games ever

Bit shite at the time, would be utter bobbins now. Was just the quickest Mario 64 knockoff they could get out wasn’t it? Gonna give it 1/5.

5/5 for the soundtrack alone.

The sequel was disappointing, but had a multiplayer mode where you assigned a specific control (i.e. jump, move left, attack) to either player 1 or player 2 and you both controlled Croc together. Absolutely mental and did not work even slightly but lots of fun forcing your sibling to run Croc into a lava pit.

Don’t really remember much about it except the cute intro and it being a fairly standard, anodyne platformer for the time. Not sure why we’re even discussing it tbh.

did not expect Croc to get its own one of these tbh

had them both, iirc my mum bought Croc for my sister to play and Toca Touring Cars for me to play. I came out of that one with the far better game if you ask me.

played a bit of Croc as my sister found bits of it too hard (iirc precise jumping was quite tricky) but it wasn’t all that. not the worst thing ever either, but I can imagine it doesn’t hold up whatsoever nowadays. sequel I remember being worse but can’t remember why.
