They’re much more fun and frivolous - more like a carnival party than Leftfield’s stark urban feel. (I absolutely adore Leftfield as well)

If they played in Cork I’d go. Could see a gig like that just being constant movement.

There’s no better song for a baking hot day than Rendez-Vu

It’s basically a big carnival onstage and off tbh, so much dancing.

I think I do remember this Romeo song, it’s not for me, the beat is like too UUUH UUH UUH UUH, overshadowing everything else in the mix. Also find the melody a bit boring

it got a bit better at about 2:30 briefly though

prefer the venga boys for this kind of stuff

As much as I like Where’s Your Head At?, the definitive version for me is 2 Many Djs’ mash up with Emerson, Lake & Palmer

I love that whole record, so much fun.

It might be someone else and not ELP, I can’t remember

Just realised that the track I linked is made up of a sample of a band from Bermuda so you weren’t too far wrong here Bam.

It’s Peter Gunn by ELP.

On the way to uni once I noticed a queue that extended out of the campus boundary, walked past it, what must have been at least a kilometre, found its source the uni bookshop, I went to investigate what could be causing such a stir, turned out the vengabus was coming and they were selling the tickets

I actually prefer Basement Jaxx. Chemical Brothers acted as a good “gateway” for people who maybe would have listened exclusively to guitar bands / Britpop but personally I find them a little dull. For me Underworld > Basement Jaxx > Chemical Brothers
