are they anti-fascist?

Would like the vengaboys to be good people for some reason

anyway back to BJ:

That Red Alert song is ok kind of catchy I remember the synth line being pretty funky.
Romeo I’m not a big fan of it seems a bit straight ahead
Where’s Your Head at is annoying and I believe also has that dentist’s drill synth sound is that like a trademark of theirs?

2/5 feels a little low but I’ve given artists I like much more a 3

Yeah!

Try Good Luck first.

Ah that’s great. Must have known since childhood that they were good people

Oh yeah I think I’ve heard this one before, this one is better! The vocal is good! Would prefer the drums and synth bass to be a little less distorted though, sounds a bit like they were recorded at a different fidelity or something

The singer is Lisa Kekaula out of The Bellrays, good band.

Love the video for Where’s Your Head At

ok so having got to the end of the track I feel like they had a really good hook for a chorus but didn’t really know where to go with it, just kinda sat the same throughout. Good for a song of it’s type though I think.

Big beats are the best, get high all the time.

Breakcore

(No idea what we’re doing here - Basement Jaxx are none of the above)

Skunk Rock anyone?

(Lo-Fidelity Allstars are a clear 5)

Bit slow on the uptake today like

We’re allowed to do whatever we want.

They’re the definition of an “I’d have to say, the best of Basement Jaxx” kind of act.

Mad that they headlined Glastonbury. Only on a technicality I guess, but still.

That was a great show though.

I reckon they’ve got a whole Venga fleet. Like Thunderbirds.

I think I was there, but I have more memory of being woken up at the stone circle at about noon the next day, a bit sun burnt, having passed out sometime after sunrise.
