Loved that song when I heard it live. Was really confused when I couldn’t find it on an album when I got home, given they’d just released a new album, then months later 6music killed all love I had for it.

Overrated shite.

Pretty Things and Mary are two pretty remarkable songs.

Yeah Capacity is the easiest place to start and the most immediate, really I’d just make the case that if you enjoy that then move onto Capacity and if you enjoy that go for the other two.

I will warn you though they do reward repeat listens, they take a bit of time to fully click

You can vote 1 if you like dude

I first heard them play that at EOTR a full year before it was released. You can gauge the strength of a song by how instantly recognisable it was despite that gap. It really is brilliant.

You’ve stopped making sense in record time!

I’m doing the same then hitting either a five or a one. No cowards nuanced scoring.

don’t understand the hype/5

Same here. Sometimes I do it after half a song.

One song in to Capacity. So far, so 3pm Sunday slot at ATP.

Better than I initially gave them credit for.

But not as good as most people make out.

Strong 4

I’m not awake yet!

Sorry I got the names mixed up I’d start at Masterpiece first.

Only got into them when U.F.O.F. came out, and have been besotted since. Adrianne Lenker has one of those voices that come across as having no barrier sometimes - can get intense.

Just you wait

I’m on track 3 and enjoying it a lot tbf. I hate it when that happens.

Their songs are better

The archetypal 3 for me. PH neutral, can happily listen to an album but I never stop what I’m doing to think “oh this is a good song” except for Not, which is the one time for me they’ve sounded like a 4.

I think they are pushing music forward but I’m conscious of scaring people off with my fandom
