Anyone else get into them through that Nativity In Black tribute album that was released in the 90’s? There are some really great covers on there. Even Ugly Kid Joe do a decent version of N.I.B.

Probably like this one the best though:

250+ posts and no posts about problematic pasts? Could this be Sabbath’s trump card?

Didnt get into them that way, but yep - had and enjoyed the album.

I think there were maybe two volumes? There’s a Primus cover of N.I.B. where Les Claypool - shockingly - overplays the fuck out of the intro.

Ozzy has done some really shitty things…

Here’s the cunt

Calm down, Les.

Oh yeah - there was one with a red cover that came along later? Never heard it! Might give it a listen later on tonight

I can only find it on YouTube, with that Primus one struck out for copyright. Rest seem fine.

Les Claypool has never in his life played one note where three could be squeezed in.

Now THERE’S a band. Just wish they knew about not being misogynistic pricks when they were writing their fun music.

I remember chatting to school mates about the line ups in Sabbath being like a football team signing new players. Glenn Hughes, Dio, Gillan x2, Bev Bevan, Terry Chimes from The Clash, many, many, many more.
