I think if it weren’t for Insomniac it would easily be their best. I love the sad melodies, and Misery easily could have been a disaster but instead it’s great and works really well as an album centerpiece.

I think Waiting is one of the best ones, but Minority, yeah I can see how it could be annoying. The lyrics in particular - I’d always given them the benefit of the doubt, but given what came later maybe I shouldn’t have. It’s weird reading reviews of the album that call it the best song on there.

They absolutely nailed the transition from the Interlude into Heart’s All Gone.

Also it’s massively clear that Cure copying Tom is miles better at Blink 182 songs than Matt Skiba.

Stick to your guns pal - Warning is a fabulous album, especially when you consider the band was literally on the verge of splitting up. The title track plods and Minority has been overplayed, but the rest is brilliant - Jackass would be in my top 5 GD songs for example.

It’s so under-rated, even by some GD uber fans, but I believe it’s the hidden gem within their catalogue.

Oh yeah, Jackass is one of my absolute favorites of theirs too. I had no idea they were on the verge of splitting up, probably because the album is so great. It was an instant classic for me.

I only just found out like 2 weeks ago that Travis had nearly died in an airplane crash and got major burns years ago too.

Blink-182 were the first band I got into when I started getting into music and dressing a certain way. I found their documentary VHS in a bargain bin in Asda when I was like 11 and I cannot believe my mum let me watch that.

yeah, if i recall correctly Travis wouldn’t fly for years afterwards, used to get boats over for EU tours.

So much tragedy around such a “silly” band (whom I love, for the record)
