Think Oasis are the lowest 1 I’ve given so far but on balance Blink 182 are probably worse

One of those two and Going Away To College, as it shows a slightly more mature side to them?

When I write a hit TV show, Pathetic will be on the soundtrack. probably as the theme tune

I think it’s one of those albums where the deluxe edition is the definitive one. The standard one feels very choppy and incomplete, but the deluxe one fills in what it was lacking really nicely. It probably suffers in the rankings due to a combination of that and a lot of people being over Blink 182 in 2011.

Also, to me this is easily one of their best songs:

Yeah, i listened to it again a few hours ago. I do like it, and onoy know the deluxe version, so happy to stick with that. I like that they still had varying ways of adding vocals back them too, unlike that album that didn’t happen a few years ago, where it wad a verse from Mark, then a verse from Matt. I hope that gets changed on the new one.

Was gonna smash that 1 button to counteract all the children giving them more than 3 (at best), but I can’t 1 that. 2 it is, cos Miss You is quite sweet in a gawky, stupid way.

Oh wow I didn’t realize they were doing a new one. I thought California was horrendous, it was like they made an album as the band people think they are. My gym plays a couple songs from it, and on top of being terrible She’s Out of Her Mind might have the worst bridge I’ve ever heard. A good lesson is to not let the guy who tried and failed to make a career of ripping you off produce your comeback album.

he starts to do it a bit here with skinhead rob, giving him the old hiphop stuff he’s into, but when it becomes obvious that travis cba he kind of goes the same way :man_shrugging:

Have we talked about how Tom Delonge is definitely an alt right conspiracy nut yet?

i think he cared what you think

Absolutely. My favourite of theirs. Thanks Pervy!

Nah that’s too many. A fair few acts so far have been under 100. 50 maybe, or 75?

I think that was a bit mean of you tbh, Moousee.

I’ve often thought that pop punk, when done well, might be the highest form of art

I quit a job because they said they wouldn’t let me have the day off I’d already booked in advance to see them play live (after they rescheduled, so it had been in my diary for a year and was gonna be my first time seeing them live at their own show).
The look on the bosses face when he broke the news and I bye byed their arses was hilarious.

Lead single:

I quite like the hook in the chorus, but it’s a bit middle aged chaps looking back on a youth they may or may not have lived.

Fucking great, cheers.
