For me it’s a 4 on record and a 1 live.
I love Dude Ranch through TOYPAJ nostalgically, and the self-titled album Actually. With NFG they don’t have any albums I love as much as I love those, but I will always go and see them when they tour because they’re mastered the art of releasing just enough good songs per album to ensure their live sets vary, and they can actually play (even if Jordan can’t really sing).
I havent seen the Skiba incarnation but the 2 or 3 times I saw the ‘classic’ Blink lineup it was just depressing. Weird that a 3-piece punk band from the scene that threw up The Offspring, NOFX, Pennywise, Bad Religion et al to be a ‘studio band’ but they really, really are.
