gonna record a springsteen cover tonight in tribute
It came with my box set edition of Born To Run which I got at uni which was my first real foray into Springsteen, itβs a truly incredible performance. Hopefully itβs available elsewhere, itβs so worth a watch. Can only imagine what it was like to be in that crowd, his first ever UK show!
Easiest 5 yet.
Highway Patrolman please
oh I could try that one
I got a job working construction for the Johnstown Company
But lately there ainβt been much work ON ACCOUNT OF THE ECONOMY!
something in the night!
Got this stuck in my head now too
gem of a tune
His best track is Frankie Goes To Hollywoodβs cover of Born To Run.
Never listened/10
No desire to listen/10
Bamnan likes him which means I wonβt/10
2 or 3 good songs, everything else is boring. Gave him a 2.
No more ambient recommendations for you!
Were there more than one? Iβm aware of the Cheryl Cole/Tweedy incident. She was clearly a massive prick and acted dreadfully during the whole thing, but she always denied there was any racial aspect to it as far as Iβm aware. She was cleared of any racial element to the assault by the court as well.
The Boss is the only artist that my whole family loves.
A good few years back he played Cardiff and my sister and I both went home and went to see him with my mum and dad.
I have a genuinely precious family memory of all four of us singing (yelling) along to Born to Run at the top of our lungs and then having a big old hug and just being very grateful to be there with them.
5 out of 5.
fuck yes!
Not a massive fan I appreciate the music never properly deep dived into his catalogue which is funny when beyond the obvious singles my first introduction to his albums was the Pete Seeger album (which for all it being pastiche I actually quite like) and is seen as a bit of a curio in his catalogue.
what a beautiful memory
