And the fully updated playlist. Extra Neil Young tracks as chosen by, well, NeilYoung!

You couldn’t deny that he’s a technically skilled rapper but he’s a nasty prick whose lyrics veer from the puerile to misogynistic and homophobic abuse. No time for him/5

basically the yngwie of rap at this point

Well that saved me some typing.

I forgot how much I love hating Yngwie.

Like geesey said, when he stays away from the horrible shit, on something like Lose Yourself for example, he’s a brilliant rapper but he just gets lost for me in all the homophobia and nasty, violent sexism, then hides behind ‘characters’ to distance from it. 2/5 from me. Such a waste of talent imo.

He’s really frustrating because of this. He’s capable of writing some amazing songs that don’t contain anything offensive and straddled the line between commercial success whilst also displaying amazing lyricism.

Lose Yourself is absolutely genius.

Edit: basically, exactly what funky said

Stan is reasonable and he’s technically gifted so I’ll give him a 2.

All that stuff about murdering his wife and that is too much for me though.

Yngwie who?

Also hugely inconsistent. Released a terrible single with Rhianna recently, then did a brilliant collaboration with Royce Da 5’9 a few weeks later.

partially responsible for this, the worst thing on the internet

Wtaf did I just read?!?

Not for me Clive. But then Dre likes him and he probably knows more about rap than me :man_shrugging:

Unbelievable technician with largely awful output.

Always thought he was at his peak in a guest spot or one of his own tracks with a lot of features. Needs someone to bounce off for you to remember how gifted he is a lot of the time.

Or maybe Dre likes money
