From that list I know Maneater, I Can’t Go For That, She’s Gone, Family Man, Out Of Touch and Private Eyes and every single one of them is a banger or a bop or whatever you call them. Maneater in particular was a big favourite of mine when I was eight

First act in this series I’ve genuinely never heard of. None of the song titles ring a bell either unless Nelly Furtado’s Manester was a cover? Half expecting this to be called out as a spoof like that fake author in the writers poll, though surely 42 replies in all these people couldn’t be in on it.

I met Theo way before I knew DiS was a thing through gigs our mutual pal used to put on and where our old bands used to play. Played lots of gigs as part of the revolving line-up in various things he did and in the band at his wedding. GBOL.

Maneater though makes me want to listen to the Nelly Furtado tune of the same name, which is far superior

edit: not taking anything away from H&O Maneater, which is still pretty good. Nelly just has an all-timer on her hands there. Love when Soulwax bust out the riff live - 17:20 here. Part of the weekend never dies
