2/5, they’re not terrible enough to warrant a low score, but Christ, their latter stuff is shit. S/T and parts of Empire are decent enough. One of the worst album covers of all times too.

I liked the first album and they did a good job aping Vanishing Point era primal scream for a while. Goes of a cliff edge after that. Seem to remember some outrageously shit statements for NME headlines back in the day, then the more recent news. Yeah not great

I remember when they started, they seemed quite interesting as “lad” bands went. The unusual videos and a few half decent tunes. Then it all went a bit shite. Then Tom.

God, I had to take a moment to appreciate just how awful that artwork is. So many terrible things about it, it’ll wash over you if you let it.

What annoys me an unreasonable amount about this is the use of quotation marks rather than italics for the album’s title. I mean, if you’re going to mimic Wikipedia, do it probably.
