Went to see her for the Hammersmith gigs. It was amazing obviously.
Kept thinking that we had to go to Shepherds Bush though. Took me a while to get my head around that one. I’m an idiot

I once did such an eerie rendition of this (like, nailed her voice by holding my head at a very strange angle) while my mum was driving that she looked at me in amazement and, as a result, hit a badger

The October Mojo had a cover feature on Hounds of Love and this worthwhile cover cd
It’s thoughtfully compiled, there’s a couple of quite nice covers and a load of stuff from people that worked with Kate or inspired her. This was a nice find for me, Kate sings backing vocals on Zaine Griff’s 1982 tribute to Lindsay Kemp who taught them both
