Reckon there’s a difference between dodgy politics expressed as part of the art and dodgy politics expressed by the creator externally. Presentation of apu is relevant to how I’d rate the Simpsons, corgan being an absolute moron isn’t as relevant (obviously would be relevant to further supporting/giving money to these people etc. But not really to a poll imo).
Luckily smashing pumpkins are rubbish anyway so it’s not a bridge I’ll have to cross

Objectively no.

But it’s hard for some of us not to reflect on these things when you come back to trying to enjoy an artist’s work.

I imagine Cat Power wasn’t an anti-vaxer when she made You Are Free but it still has an effect on my listening to it now.

To dismiss this isn’t really fair.

My best mate is a huge fan of hers so I was exposed to a lot of her music when living with him. I’d say I’m a full weekend of listening to all her stuff away from giving her 5/5. Big fan of The Kick Inside and Hounds Of Love. Lionheart is deece too and I’ve loved what I’ve heard of The Dreaming.
