my view on the politics thing is it is all fine, people have there own criteria, are not going to be consistent, and find it easier to give a pass to things they like and are attached to, it is natural. as i’ve said many times I literally draw my line around billy corgan so my line is a billy corgan shaped silhouette. but I guess the thing i’m less comfortable with is how people go about it, its one thing when people say they are personally uncomfortable with enjoying something due to those kinds of reasons, but sometimes people express it in a more objective way where it is like this person is bad and by extension you are bad for enjoying them (maybe not intended but thats how it comes across sometimes), that is fine too and there are certainly cases where that might be justified, but any arguments in that kind of area then people really do need to be consistent. but it is complicated as its easy to take dis as a whole rather than just a mass of individual opinions, it may well be that the people who are really critical of acts politics are being completely consistent with what they like to (dont really keep track with who says what), just at the aggregate level it seems like different rules for different acts. (i’m sure ive been massively inconsistent myself)

I Like her. I like that she put herself into icon status and recorded that album with Tony Bennett. I’ve not really kept up with what she’s doing though.

She’s got a good few cracking tracks although I’m not too familiar with her whole back catalogue. And as many have already stated she’s clearly a good egg.
I’m gonna be in Vegas next year where she’s got a residency so definitely gonna get tickets to go see.

I was totally gutted that that hadn’t started when I went to Vegas, I would’ve gone for sure. Just going to be a great show regardless of whether you’re a superfan or not isn’t it.

Oops. Forgot about that one

The correct answer to this is The Fame Monster. Also Dance in The Dark is a banger even if it is her biggest Madonna rip off.

Doing doughnuts on the Sandy Shores airfield to Applause is a lot of fun so it’s a 5 from me.

I don’t even follow Soju, but this came up in my timeline earlier. Is she a secret DiSser??

She’s great but not excellent

4/5

It might be, but to my mind Gaga was a bigger deal in 2013 than R Kelly was, and I reckon the shots were being called on her side. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if it was a deliberate strategy by her management to crossover to the urban market. But neither of us will ever know for sure.

Just for ‘Zombie’ alone, he’s a 4. But yeah 5/5 from me clive.

The Fame Monster’s incredible. Every tune a banger. Every single one. (Ok there’s only 8 of them but still).

Everything else is a bit patchy. I still think she’s fabulous but then I’m always a sucker for the uniquely charismatic. Dunno, 3/5?

I don’t like how it’s said like it’s a bad thing.

I do want to know who the Primark Prince is though.
