Haha.

Funny you mention that actually. I do remember one time at uni, we’d had a massive weekender, out both nights, people back at ours after and going through the next day. Finally things calming down Sunday evening, and my two extremely sensible housemates decided to take shrooms to end the weekend in style, and proceeded to go very messy.

I remember them arguing a lot, talking some incredible shite, pretty much coming to blows, and then play (honestly didn’t remember either of them liking it!) being put on VERY loud by one of them at around 2-3am :joy::roll_eyes:

Our neighbour came round the next day to go mental at us; guess who answered the door, yep, muggins here…

Californiacation is a good album with lots of good songs, Otherside especially, the rest of their back catalogue can get in the bin though

Nah fam. One Hot Minute’s where it’s at, and that’s pretty much only because of sexy cat-man Dave Navarro.

Californication is one of the first albums that I really liked as a young un, but I listened to it relatively recently and it’s aged awfully. The ending of Parallel Universe is great though, and Scar Tissue is still quite nice despite it being overplayed to shit

I need to listen to more Jane’s Addiction, love what I’ve heard but can’t say I’m overly familiar

They’re a much, much, much better band.

they were due to play at the last Leeds Fest I went to (2011) but pulled out on the day, was quite gutted. Not sure why they did really

That’s a shame. I last saw them on the NIN/JA Nine Inch Nails farewell tour (that didn’t stick, did it Trent?). They were pretty good but I suspect not at their best playing at the O2 Arena, I think they’re a slightly more intimate band than massive arena tours afford them.

yeah I can’t see arenas being their bag. They were due to play the second stage at Leeds so in a tent, would’ve been really good

They did that at Reading as well. I was fucking furious. It was the second time they’re cancelled on me and I’ve still never seen them. :sob:

do you know why they did? I can’t recall there being any reason and certainly at Leeds, it was on the day it was announced they weren’t there

We were told Perry had blown his voice warming up.
Seemed like a bullshit excuse.

God he’s just so DULL

Saw Avenged Sevenfold do it one year and M Shadows really had done his voice in, they gor an audience member up to sing and she was terrifies. It was so awkward
