Jane’s were amazing

they were due to play at the last Leeds Fest I went to (2011) but pulled out on the day, was quite gutted. Not sure why they did really

That’s a shame. I last saw them on the NIN/JA Nine Inch Nails farewell tour (that didn’t stick, did it Trent?). They were pretty good but I suspect not at their best playing at the O2 Arena, I think they’re a slightly more intimate band than massive arena tours afford them.

yeah I can’t see arenas being their bag. They were due to play the second stage at Leeds so in a tent, would’ve been really good

They did that at Reading as well. I was fucking furious. It was the second time they’re cancelled on me and I’ve still never seen them. :sob:

do you know why they did? I can’t recall there being any reason and certainly at Leeds, it was on the day it was announced they weren’t there

We were told Perry had blown his voice warming up.
Seemed like a bullshit excuse.

God he’s just so DULL

Haha weak

Saw Avenged Sevenfold do it one year and M Shadows really had done his voice in, they gor an audience member up to sing and she was terrifies. It was so awkward

Ah yes the one with Catholic Girls Rock!

Because, y’know, on account of the, heh, no condoms, heheh ehehej hehe

I mean, I feel like you’re asking me to defend a RHCP album, and hahaha no.

Nah I’d never ask anyone to do that but you did bring it up

I bring it up literally only to remind everyone that Dave Navarro, a sexy man who looks like a cat, was once the guitarist in Red Hot Chili Peppers during a period when the previous guitarist liked drugs a lot more than being in the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and really who the fuck can blame him, until Anthony Kiedis decided Dave Navarro was too “creative differences” sexy to be in the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

We all remember the songs “Aeroplane” and the cover of Rollercoaster of Love for the film of these lads

Yes. My alternative dimension theory which I’ve probably posted before is that if Dave Navarro had stayed in the band they’d have released increasingly dark alt rock albums through the 90s, broken up then reformed in the mid 2010s to become ATP darlings.

Saw them play all of Ritual a few years back. Still incredible

I wonder if anyone has a “pescetarian for life” tattoo
