I like them but Malkmus’ debut is better than any Pavement album for me. That album is a 10/10.

At last! Love Pavement. Found an old tape of CRCR at a second-hand shop years back and spent an entire Summer listening to it on a loop. Great weird sense of humour about them and really memorable but rackety songs.
My brother once played CRCR and my Mum reckoned it just sounded like a bunch of kids mucking around

Top 5 all time band I reckon. 5 great to perfect albums, bsides and demos better than the majority of other bands best work. Malkmus continues to do no wrong in my eyes.

Plus the bit in the Cut Your Hair vid with Steve Malkmus getting his crown always makes me laugh a lot
