Some things that should never be seen: Rod Stewart with a beard, Savile with a beard

Dr Sir Rod Stewart

hmmmm like some of his stuff but a lot if dross. A pal of mine is a massive fan and played some of his lesser known stuff from his early days that was really good.
like all celtic fans he’s a massive tory, so i’ll knock him down a point for that, but i’ll knock him up a point for my pal the massive fan. dunno, maybe a 3

Probably not the NI Lads tbf.
That’s quite surprising though.

It’s a bit, Celtic are very anti-tory

Yeah that’s what I thought but I’m not savvy enough with Scottish football to know the Craic.

Seems like Celtic fans should not like Rod? Who knows :grinning:

Was actually looking this up yesterday, man should be rights be a Hibee and Arsenal but somehow ended up Celtic and United

More clubs than Tiger Woods ffs

Always felt his singing voice lacked authenticity. He’s a good singer, no question, but compared to say, Steve Marriott or Van Morrison, he just sounds too studied in his manner. A lot of British vocalists back then were aping American R&B and soul singers, but Rod was just too perfect. By rights, his solo career should have been as successful as Roger Daltrey’s, ie. not very. It was those big, sentimental ballads that did it for Rod.

The Faces were a decent band, though. Rod was a good fit for their sound. Similarly, his contribution to this is pretty solid:

Also, we’ve got him to thank for this as well:

Every rod stewart song I’ve listened to has been against my will

Should probably shut this one down…

Scores are cool and scores are nice.

Sir Rod scores 1.88 Far, far too low.
