🎵 How Good Are They Really 🎵 Slayer

And a wad of bills

The last entry at 20:30 thing suggests they want people in early to cash in on the bars/food etc, rather than just turn up for the headliner. Squeezing the sets in rather than having an all dayer seems a bit baffling on that basis.

Unless there’s a licence reason they can’t open early on a weekday, but even then - surely you might as well just have 3 acts instead of 5?

The bars shut at least 7 songs before the end last night too, which was quite good because I didn’t actually want a drink, but would have felt obliged to enjoy another.

Apparently…

Aw man, that’s early. Still can’t be bothered to try to go, though

Anyone know what time last entry is? Might head up just for Slayer.

Morning more metal than an entirely daylight headline show…

Subject line on the email from Ticketmaster really tickled me for some reason

At a real crossroads as kinda cba to go now, especially as I’ve just learned there’s no trains from Peckham today but split between going early to see Hatebreed and Mastodon but then hanging around for hours (looking increasingly unlikely) or just rocking up around 7 (much more likely)

Anthrax are a LOT of fun live :metal:

I’m sure just never really got into them personally, and Amon Amarth is a name I’ve seen everywhere but have never knowingly heard a note of

Amon Amarth are amazing live. Fun melodeath, fire, people dressed as vikings having sword fights, they have it all.
