Sweating Bullets is everything that’s great & ridiculous about metal. What a great song.

Peace sells might be worth a listen.
Or burn my eyes by Machine head for the last great 90’s thrash album

I’ve heard Peace Sells years ago and didn’t like it much. Might need be a good time for a relisten. I was thinking Fall of Elfrafa 1st album or something completely not Metal for the next album. I’ve never knowingly heard Machine Head.

Nice post! Glad you enjoyed it.

I’d second the Burn My Eyes recommendation. But my fav album of theirs is The Blackening, best album (well, at least as far as metal goes) of the noughties

Thanks. It’s a cool album. No Thrash album is very going to get near Reign In Blood for me, then again, no album is going to get near that, from pretty much any genre.

Cool. Machine Head it is then, never heard them so kind of perfect for a blind week long listen then write up.

Just remembered a friend used to tell me a story about seeing Machine Head support Slayer after Burn My Eyes came out and saying they blew them out if the water. Just to set the scene a bit for you

What year / era roughly was this?

At a guess…
