Apparently I used to coo along to I Just Called To Say I Love You when I was a couple of months old. His music had soundtracked every era of my life and I still get untold joy listening to him. Easiest 5 everrrr

Used to drive around with my friend listening to the best of Motown disk 1 cause it was all the earlier stuff and then we branched out to disk 3 and it had master blaster on it and we got obsessed with it.

beautiful voice, powerful and tender, insanely talented, great songwriter, as a lyricist able to be both biting and sweet and tender, funky and life affirming to listen to. Made the only double album I’ve heard that doesn’t feel boring and too long. Just a delight.

top five musical crimes perpetuated by Stevie Wonder in the '80s and '90s. Go. Sub-question: is it in fact unfair to criticize a formerly great artist for his latter day sins, is it better to burn out or fade away?

(it’s a 5 from me with the same caveat as Bowie that it almost dropped to a 4 for the decades of dreck)

You can. But why a) bring up another unrelated artist you know will be controversial and b) reply in a mocking tone to a perfectly innocent, nice post. You’ve put coo in quotation marks like there’s something wrong with the use of it, and then disparaged an artist the person you’re replying to has stated their love for. This isn’t the first occurrence of trolling behaviour either.
