Really enjoying my first listen to Radiator for many years. Cracking album.

This is really good! Sounds a bit like Field Music as well

5 from me, along with Gorky’s the easiest 5’s I’ll ever dish out. Was a fan from early on and lucky to have seen them live an absolute shit load of times. The only downside for me is that most of my love for SFA was shared with my ex-wife so I’ll be honest I struggle to listen to them these days.

Yeah, sorry you had them on a bad day. Think 2005 might not have been their best year, as they had to release the song Lazer Beam as a single. That would put me in a very sullen mood.

Flipping well love this band!

Only saw them 3 times tho.

The Songbook comp is ridiculously strong.

and I listened to Mwng for first time only 2 months ago… no idea why that passed me by!

This thread is giving me a good excuse to go through the 20th anniversary remasters.

I’d swap Guerrilla and PP but other than that this is my list too

Had an SFA marathon this weekend. Was incredibly rewarding. I know it’s been said lots here, but that run of Radiator to Rings takes some beating.

  1. Rings Around The World
  2. Mwng
  3. Guerilla
  4. Radiator
  5. Phantom Power
  6. Hey Venus!
  7. Fuzzy Logic
  8. Dark Days/Light Years
  9. Love Kraft

Not a single one lower than a 7 out of 10.

Going to abstain, as I’ve only really listened to Guerilla but bloody loved it and it evokes such amazing memories of finishing university and getting my first full time job in London in Summer 1999.

I remember buying my first mobile phone (Nokia 3210) and showing it off at work singing along to “Wherever I Lay My Phone”. Also remember knocking off early on a blazing hot Friday and playing Do Or Die really loud in the office with beers before going to this cool new area called “Shore Ditch”. I actually think my life peaked that year.

Five and a bloody half out of five. No question.

Great guys, good hair, cool aesthetic, all of which sadly disguises a really boring ploddy band.

Why does this track sound so much like a hot summers day to me?
