Just playing this through in my head is a wonderful thing.

Also, they’re obviously a 5.

Realised I’ve never actually listened to the last two TH albums. That’s a priority for today then!

Anybody heard Angelique Kidjo’s cover album of Remain in Light? It’s well good

Never heard a song I didn’t like including Tom Tom Club, but I don’t listen to them very often.

5/5 band for me.

5/5, brilliant band, not a lot else to say that others haven’t covered already really. Opened so many doors for me in terms of how music could be powerful beyond being noisy, overwrought, or directly sensitive.

This is what I’d choose if it was a single.

Tina Weymouth’s bass playing is the best thing about Talking Heads for me.

Very good. Actually.

Work is absolutely crushing me right now so I can’t get involved in this thread, but if there’s any justice they’ll end up right up there in the top five of this list because they were absolutely wonderful and made consistently brilliant, fun, emotional and groundbreaking music and they all seem like a total GBOL.

Saw an interview with Jerry Harrison recently. Hadn’t realised he was in The Modern Lovers and involved in lots of stuff before TH.

5 for me, but they’re one of those bands where I fully get why they’re not for everyone. Can’t imagine how annoying David Byrne’s voice must be if you don’t like them.

Easy 5
