The Hurting is excellent. Ideas as Opiates in particular is outstanding.

Big Chair, aside from Head over Heels, can fuck off.

Probably a three or four if I was being rational, because they are pretty patchy, but Head Over Heels has a huge amount of meaning for me, so top marks, fuck it.

Recent convert after the TV played them a lot. Saw them live a few weeks back and they were great. Recent album is something of a late career classic imho tbh tbf…

80s stuff had some killer times obviously that escapes the common pitfall of the time of sounding ridiculously synthy/cheesy.

Gone for a 4. Some properly good songs (Sowing The Seeds is an all timer for me) but sometimes it’s all a bit sincere like Woman in Chains or just a bit like Shout but the highs are really high

Gone 4.

Dont know much about them other than the hits if im honest, but do enjoy everything I’ve heard alot. Should delve into them a bit more really.

Everybody Wants To Rule The World is a banger!

Does The Tipping Point have a song called Drop Zone 4 Ben

Like I said about the Eurythmics, I had to live through this shit at the time and no amount of measured reasonable analysis is going to make me do anything other than hate it.

Really underrated, great vocalist imho. Some proper era defining singles, great bops. Deserved 4.

Better than Pearl Jam.
