5/5. Can’t say I know the deep cuts all that well, but the big singles (and the hits they wrote for others) are probably the best pop music of the last fifty years. Absolutely fantastic way with a tune.

Yes! Ended up down a YouTube rabbit hole recently of their latter day hits. Love this one as well:

They’ll probably get slaughtered on here but they’ve written a ridiculous amount of brilliant tunes over the years.

One or two tunes in a career of pure shite. To be outshined by steps must have been embarrassing for them.

Due to another thread I’ve gotten into their earlier psych stuff a bit;

So 2/5 rather than 1/5

5/5 from me. Ridiculous way round a pop song, so many bangers, and also way more interesting a band than they’re given credit for. Plus they wrote Islands In The Stream and Chain Reaction and Grease.

There’s no way Green Day are better than Sl… (stops self from typing).

I don’t really have a stance on the Bee Gees other than they are not for me, but there’s no denying their huge tracks are HUGE tracks.

I’m not going to abstain as I know a fair amount of their material.

Five, absolutely astonishing songwriters. Can see why people don’t like the vocals but it’s never bothered me. Had so many songs that they were able to give this stone cold banger to The Osmonds of all people

they wrote this so it’s a 5

Might go 3. Great songwriters and performers but I wouldn’t actually want to listen to a whole album.

Love this song so they probably have a bunch of hidden gems:

That ‘1’ has been getting very dusty on the shelf.

Naff shite.

One of the best pop acts of all time. No question. And for that, it’s got to be a 5.

Ludicrous amount of bangers. 5/5
