Going between a 3 and a 4 from me. They have a few truly great singles, and I like most of what I’ve heard, but I’ve just never had the impulse to listen further. I’ve never heard a whole Cure album, and I really don’t think I’ll ever feel the need to. 3 I think.

Eh, they’re fine I guess. Their music’s never really stood out to me but I’ve never wanted to skip past a song if it comes up on a playlist either. The epitome of 3/5

My entry point was Head on The Door, it’s pretty accessible as Cure albums go. Maybe start there. Others will have their suggestions
Would recommend the Cure in Orange concert film too

When I was a teenager at the skatepark I told my friends that I thought the cure were better than the smiths and they scoffed but who had the last laugh? As usual, Its me who had the last laugh.

I have a photo of me, dancing with a random guy during their at Reading Festival who had lipstick all over his face and Hair ala Robert Smith. Fucking fantastic times.

I think you could do worse than go in with Disintegration. It’s a beautiful, melancholy, reverb-y, delay-y wash of a record. If you don’t instantly fall in love with the gorgeous opening two tracks, you’re probably never going to like a full Cure album
