I meant that I liked South Park as a teen and still do now, sometimes, but like the Offspring, Sum 41, Blink-182 and most of them lot it can toe a fine line between lovably crude, loud, offbeat humour and unpleasant, bullying undertones. It’s not a life sentence offence but I’m just trying to look at their place in 2021 rather than go on a naive total nostalgia trip.

Had a brief look at Noodles’ twitter page (why?) and he seems to be a one of those Democrats who’s really, REALLY into the Obamas.

He also responded to a complaint made by a female member of one of his mates’ tour crews about language that she found offensive and derogatory by crying about free speech, calling her a “fat fucking cunt” and suggesting that she “blow him”. Puts him more in the chud camp for me (this was in 2017)

They came on once at Reading and I was with friends that liked them. I thought “they will at least be energetic”.

They weren’t. They can’t even make a good job of leaping around to their stuff a bit, or indeed looking remotely engaged with it.
