otherwise it’d be called “how much did you like x?”
If they did they might like better music
^This (is it)
guys you don’t need to piss on our chips we’re just having a nice time remembering happy moments listening to the strokes
worst band to follow in the stokes wake, the hives?
I had happy times listening to the strokes too. This was a failing of mine, I’m happy to own up to it
The Datsuns
Remember listening to Room On Fire lots while walking around Ottawa in the snow and then i bought comouter world from a second hand music store.

think i’d really enjoy seeing the strokes live in 2001. would probably feel really cool
the white stripes
I had to crowd surf at a strokes gig but it was cause I was passing out and had no way to reach air. I think I was the last ever crowd surfer.
No it’s not. How good is it really, is, I’m sure Juke will attest, meant to be a slightly challenging and questioning statement.
Such a bizarre take.
that p4k “review” was ridiculous and snide and they probably didn’t deserve it, but they were still really shit
I don’t think ITI was really an exercise in nostalgia, sure the Strokes liked bands like Television but I don’t think it was nostalgic affection for them, they weren’t teenagers when Marquee Moon came out.
fighting against your own nostalgia is one of the few ways you can try to avoid falling into the trap of “everything was better in my youth”. fight fight fight always
The first Razorlight album is full of bangers. I will not be reading the replies
before i fall to pieces is a good song (maybe)
You can recognise that things you used to like are still good though without thinking they were better than the present. People are enjoying reminiscing, they shouldn’t be shamed for that.
