4 I reckon.

One absolutely great album. 2 very good ones. Bunch of excellent demos, b-sides and EPs. Need to get another repress of fourteen autumns out imo

Yeah the debut album is astonishing. Not quite matched that. Great live

I’ve gone for a 4.

As I mentioned in the FR thread I must’ve seen them a ridiculous amount live between about 2007 and 2010, with a particularly memorable sleazies gig being the highlight.

Contrary to popular opinion, I really didn’t click with the last two albums but the first record is still a cracker. Impressive that they recorded the whole thing in 3 days too.

Favourite current band.

I like that. Was going to listen to the album but WTF?

Bands need to stop doing this.

Think it’s some silly special edition thing. I’ve just done the same in Apple Music, and a lot of the songs in the second half are alt versions etc

Ah! Thanks

Yes, there’s the little drop down for other versions and they’re only 9 songs and 45 mins. Much more like it.

The original version is 9 songs.

Still having 'Nam style flashbacks to trying to get through the whole of Illinoise TBH.

If it wouldn’t fit on one side of a blank cassette then it’s too long.

Never clicked with anything past No One Can Ever Know, and even then I need to be in the mood. But FAAFW and Forget the Night Ahead are great (Fourteen Autumns probably being in my top 10 atd albums). Saw them live a while bunch during those 2 albums, including a joint tour with errors and another gig where they tripped the sound limiter at the Freebutt in Brighton which pissed them off. Managed to get on of the RSD represses of FAAFW which is a lovely thing

Don’t know whether it’s a 4 or 5, but it’s definitely one or the other

That’s the album, an ep and some demos I think. Annoying it’s not split out on Spotify though

For some reason I get them confused with Frightened Rabbit (are they connected at all) and thus have never really listened to either. Will try investigate based off the polls.

2, tried a few times but don’t get it at all. Another band where it feels like I hear something completely different to everyone else.

Of course, in the 90s when every CD cost me at least £12, and that only if I could buy it on release day, I was very much into an album being as long as possible so I got the most for my cash. Massive hypocrite.

You must fucking love Be Here Now then.
