That’s the best.
The last line of cowboys song then the first chord of Boys comes right in.
Nice.

I have never knowingly listened to any TL album other than L&D, but I feel like I don’t need to. It’s absolutely brilliant. The chemistry, how tight the band are, the tracklist. All of it. A proper 10/10 album.

The aforementioned DITM into Massacre is huge.

Studio albums aren’t as good and can be a bit patchy.

Aye I remember my dad telling me as much.

Everyone knows who Phil Lynott is, let’s not pretend otherwise

(Other than him I only know that Gary Moore was briefly a member)

Scott Gorham and Brian Downey are the others I knew off top of my head.

Pretty mind boggling that Midge Ure was in Thin Lizzy for a while.

That poll would suggest otherwise

Ok, 88% of people

TBF I mistakenly read the poll as ‘any other member of Thin Lizzy’, hence my No.

same - question is a bit bizarre otherwise

I think his effort replaced Zep and then they had Paul Hardcastle.

ah fair enough, I didn’t know that

Tbh I think the different themes are all sort of mashed into one in my head

I met Scott Gorham not so long ago when his new band Black Star Riders did an acoustic show in the shop. He was very Californian. God knows what he made of Northside Dublin.

Aye I was surprised when I found out he was American. Has he not lived over here for years.
What’s the shop?

I actually really didn’t know any of their names :man_shrugging:

Had a lizzy afternoon - so many great songs.

Think this one is sweet and underrated:

5 from me, hugely nostalgic, my first musical love, my first gig - Midge Ure was playing that night, along with Scott Gorham and Snowy White! Phil was such an amazing front man. Don’t listen to them much any more but still stick on Live and Dangerous from time to time.
